1st International Meeting on Material and Bioproduct Interactions (MATBIM)

The objective of the first International Meeting on Material and Bioproduct Interactions is to promote the development of new and innovative materials, including active, intelligent, biobased and biodegradable packaging to improve the safety and the quality of bio products in contact. The meeting will address two main topics. Firstly, the identification, comprehension and control of the interaction between materials and media in contact, and, secondly, the development of new and innovative materials. Although the main target is food applications, the conference will also include descriptive and predictive work focused on the physiochemical interactions between constituents of polymeric materials and a medium in contact (e.g., cosmetic, medical and biotechnological applications).
