Welcome to our Spring 2009 Newsletter The Effect of Post-Harvest Storage Conditions on Foxglove Seed Development Studied using the IGAsorp In our Spring 2009 newsletter we report on a study by scientists at Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) Kew's Seed Conservation Department and the University of Reading into the effect of storing harvested seeds under different conditions on the seeds' subsequent development. In the study, which was published recently in the Annals of Botany, seeds dried under different conditions were characterised by determining moisture sorption isotherms using a Hiden Isochema IGAsorp moisture sorption analyser at RBG Kew's Wakehurst Place research facility.
