Product Overview

The standard IGAsorp is a bench-top analyser designed to provide fast and accurate measurement of the magnitude and kinetics of moisture sorption onto materials. It is fully automated and uses an ultra-sensitive microbalance to measure the weight of the sample as a function of humidity and temperature.

System operation is straightforward and intuitive. The unique IGA method allows shorter analysis times with consistent analysis from sample to sample removing any subjectivity. The kinetic data, usually discarded or not measured with other moisture sorption techniques, is analysed in real time to provide additional information of physical properties. The design offers enhanced sensitivity, stability and control, providing optimal performance for demanding research applications and method critical quality control analysis.
